GPAT: Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is a national level examination conducted by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) by direction of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt of India. This test facilitates to select institutions into the Master’s program (M.Pharm) – Master of Pharmacy. This GPAT exam conducted online, not by offline. If you have written this GPAT exam scholarship also given on basis of aggregate score.
- Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Applicant must be Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2).
- Students who are in the final year they are also eligible for these GPAT examinations.
How to Apply GPAT?
- The students who are eligible for this GPAT examination visit @ www.aicte-gpat.in.
- First, you need to apply Self-register and read the instructions carefully which are provided by the official.
- After reading the instructions apply the form and submit for login ID and continue to next steps.
Payment is done by two methods, Online payment, and the Cash Payment in SBI bank only. If you are selected the online payment, Then payment should be done by the debit/credit cards / Net banking. If you are selected cash payment then download the 3 printouts of challan and fill the challan and go to nearest SBI bank to pay the payment and take the acknowledgment challan by them.
For continuing to final step wait for 24 hours after payment in the SBI bank. After that login again into your account to fill the final step application form, completion of that step click on the submit button.
Admission Process for GPAT
The candidates are selected by the merit list provided by the AICTE and allotment of seats is by the state government through counseling.
Exam Pattern- GPAT
The GPAT exam is a computer based online test. This exam as 125 questions with 500 marks. There is a negative marking and 1 mark is deducted for the wrong answer, if the answer is correct then 4 marks are awarded. The time duration of GPAT exam is 180 minutes.
